NBMBAA Spring Networking Event
hosted in partnership with the Fort Worth Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
The members of the National Black MBA Association Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter and the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce hosted a Spring Networking Mixer at Buttons Restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas. The attendees were able to increase their business and community connections while bidding on silent action items. The auction was moderated by Dana Davis, NBMBAA Student Affairs chairpersons and by the parents of the Leaders of Tomorrow program.
Traci Peraza-Williams, a LOT parent volunteer, stated her appreciation for the participation of the LOT program. “I saw the difference that it made in my son and how he understood business. She added, “It also teaches the students to be responsible for their actions.”
The Leaders of Tomorrow is the high school student mentoring program of NBMBAA that acquaints high school students with the business and accounting industries. Additionally, the program aims to develop the students’ personal and professional character.
