National Black MBA Association Hosts Pre-Conference Kickoff with National Sales Network at Margaux's Restaurant

The National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA-DFW) and the National Sales Network (NSN-DFW) hosted a pre-conference party to celebrate the kickoff of both organizations national conferences at Margaux's Restaurant in the Uptown area of Dallas in August. The 31st NBMBAA national conference and exposition is to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 13th National Sales Network Convention is scheduled for late August and will be held in Atlanta, Georgia. With delectable food and the crowds moving to the oldies tracks laid by DJ Red (formerly with 97.9 the Beat), the two professional associations set the tone for their national conferences. local presidents of NBMBAA and NSN, Kathy Valentine and Tommy Duncan were on hand to celebrate the arrival of the conference season and to promote registration.

Each group shared its organizational mission, goals, current projects, yearly highlights and upcoming events. Throughout the evening the organization leaders awarded prizes  to the winners of networking bingo games and ticket raffles. Then, the music began to roar and immediately the attendees put their feet on the floor.
